Torsion Test Cylinder EPZ-TG 20000

These drives are used for the defined torsion loading of test specimens for static and dynamic material and component testing. The units are characterised by the highest tracking accuracy with very finely adjustable torques and angles of rotation.

Application

  • for defined torsion loading of test specimens
  • depending on the application for high-precision static, dynamic material and component testing as single drive, or in combination with a test frame or angle trestle with clamping plate
  • highest tracing accuracy with very finely adjustable torques and angles of rotation
  • especially suitable for high requirements with regard to test frequencies, transverse forces, bending moments and speeds

  • the sliding surfaces are separated from each other by a pressure oil film in order to be able to exclude friction and wear before the start of the test

  • the bearings and other moving parts are provided with a special plastic coating to protect them against overloading
  • The actuator has a pressure-dependent leakage oil volume flow which must be discharged.

Fastening options

  • Housing on one side with fastening threads on the front side
  • cylindrical shaft end for shrink disc or clamping set
  • Can be attached to an EPZ test cylinder as a tension/ torsion test cylinder (EPZ-HT)
