Rotating Bending Testing Machine

for testing steel wires / spring steel wires and other wire-shaped specimens

  • for bending the entire specimen to a circular arc corresponding to the given constant bending stress

  • in combination of a rotary axis and a counter bearing so that there is a revolving bending in the specimen during the test. The test can be carried out until the specimen breaks.

    • diameter range of the samples of 1.5 - 8 mm (other diamters on request)

    • simple, user-friendly panel mounting
      (1 x 1m; 1 x 2m)
    • usable on one or both sides
    • high setup accuracy
    • completely closed test area
    • adaptable to user requirements
    • simple determination of the setup parameters respectively

    Application:

    • calculation and determination of dynamic material parameters for the revolving bending stress to material-specific fracture mechanical characteristic values (with regard to non-metallic inclusions) and to permissible stress amplitudes for screwed pressure springs.
