Demo Rock Test

FORM+TEST Testing Machines in Practice:

The first example shows a compression testing machine ALPHA 1-3000S with a maximal test load of 3000 kN while testing rock specimens. The shooting was taken at our customer Voest Alpine Bergtechnik at Zeltweg/Austria by means of a high-speed camera. The video shows the rupture of the specimen at a approx. test load of 2000 kN in an impressive slow-motion shot.
